Veleria Dedalo by Grif Italia has specialized in the design and production of wing sails for ultralights aircraft since 1988.
We have been producing and developing ultralight wings since 1978 starting from hang gliders. In 1983 Tino, the founder, opened the company ‘Polaris’ together with some friends and began to create the technical sector. In 1988 he began producing his own sails for ultralights, collaborating with different companies (Polaris Motors, Grif, Euroala, Ing. Groppo etc.).
More recently he designed and marketed the Strike-T, a titanium nanotrike weighing just 12 kg, which can be equipped with 25-35 hp single-cylinder engines and dedicated Grif wings (Zip, Zoe, 3DC). The Strike-T has the advantage of fitting comfortably in any car and being ready for flight in 15 minutes: demonstration video.
From 2025 all the activities and know-how of Veleria are transferred to Grif Italia. Research and development increase and are our goals as always!
